Practical information
› N° participants: 40
› Language: classes are conducted in English. Candidates
should have a B2 level of English or equivalent.
› Location: lectures take place in the Institute of Vine and
Wine Sciences of the University of Bordeaux.
› Participant profile: third year Bachelor students, first and second
year Master students, doctoral students and
post-doctoral fellows with a background in biology, viticulture, oenology,
agronomy, environment studies, chemistry, microbiology, or economy, and/or a
strong interest in 21st century challenges for both vines and wines. Students
from other fields with a strong interest the programme will be also considered.
› Applications: candidates must provide a CV and cover letter
detailing their motivations for attending the summer school and their
professional project, highlighting how this programme will help them to develop
new skills.
› Deadline: March 29th, 2026.
› Participation fee:
› 450 € for participants from the University of
Bordeaux (including lunches, coffee breaks and social programme costs)
› 750 € for participants from Geisenheim and
Adelaide / AWRI University (including accommodation, lunches, coffee
breaks and social programme costs)
› 850 € for participants members of the OENOVITI
network (including accomodation lunches, coffee breaks and social programme
costs)
› 950 € for other participants (including accomodation lunches, coffee breaks and social programme costs)
